The Location
Why Vadodara.
We considered eleven source locations across India before settling on Vadodara. The decision was not made on infrastructure or logistics — it was made on water.
The Sabarmati river basin and the underlying basaltic geology of the Deccan Plateau create an aquifer with a naturally low TDS — typically 30–45 mg/L before treatment. That is a rare starting point. Most Indian groundwater sources require aggressive demineralisation that introduces its own flavour artefacts.
Vadodara water requires minimal intervention to reach the profile Plezure demands. The craft here is restraint, not addition.
The city also has a long tradition of precision manufacturing — scientific instruments, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering. The talent and infrastructure for disciplined, process-driven production is embedded in the place.
The Process
How a batch is made.
Source & Collection
Water is drawn from a dedicated bore at depth — below 80 metres, where the mineral profile is consistent and protected from surface contamination. Temperature at source: 24–26°C year round.
Primary Filtration
Multi-stage filtration: sand bed, activated carbon, and 0.2 micron membrane. The goal is to remove suspended solids and organic matter without stripping the mineral profile we want to retain.
Mineralisation Control
Where the source TDS runs high — typically in pre-monsoon months — reverse osmosis brings it to baseline. Post-RO, we re-add specific minerals in precise doses to achieve the target profile.
Carbonation & Bottling
Carbonation is added under controlled pressure at 4°C. The micro-bubble structure is achieved through a proprietary carbonation head we had custom-built in Pune. Bottling follows immediately under sterile conditions.

Per production run
Every production run includes full ICP-MS mineral analysis, microbiological testing, and a sensory panel evaluation against our reference batch. The reference batch was established in our first production run, and we maintain it in archival storage as the definitive benchmark.
